The figures are clear. According to an opinion poll published today by Le Parisien, 61% of French people feel above all anxiety or fear with regard to migrants. 
...According to the poll, the most common sentiment towards migrants is anxiety or fear. (61%) against only 38% for sympathy and compassion. A fear exacerbated by the events of 13 November. 
...Loosen the regulations for refugee status? The poll also reveals that seven out of 10 French people are opposed to France loosening the conditions for granting refugee status.
