Professor Michael Curtis of Rutgers University has written an article, ‘Lord Weidenfeld, the Jews, and help for Christians’, for The Commentator website. He reveals that Lord Weidenfeld, ‘a proud Jew and Zionist’, has established the Weidenfeld Fund ‘to rescue 10,000 Syrian and Iraqi Christians who are suffering from the unprecedented primitive savagery and the lust and sadism of ISIS.’ Curtis, a Jew, is at pains to point out that Weidenfeld’s compassion is in marked contrast to ‘the seeming lack of interest by mainstream Christian organizations in the fate of the persecuted Christians.’
I submitted the following comment:
If Middle Eastern Christians need to be rescued from Islam, why do Jews urge Europe to accept Muslim ‘refugees’ by the million, thereby increasing the risk to European Christians? Douglas Murray explores the conundrum in this article in the Jewish Chronicle, where he quotes a Jewish friend as saying, ‘This will come round to hurt the Jews’.
The YouTube video he mentions in his antepenultimate paragraph is, I imagine, ‘With Open Gates: The forced collective suicide of European nations’, 5½ million views at the time of writing. The video’s star turn, Barbara Lerner Spectre, draws attention to the Jews’ ‘leading role’ in making Europe multicultural.
Alas, my comment was rejected.
In ‘Why Jews Welcome Muslims’, Lawrence Auster writes: ‘in the minds of Jews, any desire on the part of gentiles to maintain an all-gentile country club, or any statement by a Christian, no matter how mild and civilized, that shows any concern about any aspects of the cultural and political influence of secular Jews in American life, is an expression of anti-Jewish bigotry that could easily lead to mass extermination, and therefore it must be ruthlessly suppressed.’
Now I understand. My comment could have led to a new Holocaust and had to be ruthlessly suppressed.
UPDATE: Some seven hours after submitting my comment, it has appeared but under the name Carlos Broch (I submitted it under my Disqus and Blogger name, Johnny Rottenborough), the link to the Jewish Chronicle article has been removed and I can neither edit nor delete the comment. There is a link on my Disqus profile to Diversity Macht Frei. Perhaps The Commentator checked out the blog and decided to remove my Disqus ID from the comment.
