The agreement in the population to Turkey's accession to the EU is falling. According to a Forsa poll 69% of those polled agreed with the country's accession. That is a significant increase compared to a poll from 2005: then 52% voted against the entry to the EU.
According to the current study on behalf of Stern magazine, 26% of Germans think Turkey should become an EU member. Nine years ago it was still 43%.
